It has been recently taken out of the storage. There are two mechanical issues that need attention: the air compressor for the air spring is glitchy and currently disconnected, and the battery gets hot, perhaps, the alternator has to be replaced.</p><p></p><p>The cabin: The cabin of this ambulance boasts a spacious XL Braun manufactured box renowned for its exceptional quality and durability. Every detail is meticulously crafted, including the use of stainless steel screws and adjustable internal doors designed to minimize rattling and ensure a quiet, smooth ride. As the largest cabin in its category, it offers generous space, enhancing both comfort and operational efficiency.</p><p></p><p>Additional modifications: Inside, there's a removable bed platform and a kitchen area with a small cabinet including a faucet and copper sink. It has a 5-gallon grey water tank and is organically treated wood. The kitchen setup allows for ventilation with an outside door that opens when cooking. The entire kitchen and the bed can be removed in 20 minutes if needed, turning the cabin into its original state.</p><p></p><p>Usage: The ambulance has been used only a few times per year for recreational purposes, strictly on highways and parking lots within Long Island, NY. Former ambulance converted into a tailgate truck. This truck has been garaged since it was bought in 1997. Low miles low wear and tear. Paint is in excellet condition no rust. Box interior was completely overhauled. New Cloth bench seat, painted the entire inside new grip rite floor. New tires less then 1 year ago. Updated the gearing to allow for a comfortable 70mph highway cruising speed.  New caterpillar batteries, power windows all compartment doors function. Brand new inverter installed this spring that is top of the line. Truck is currently wrapped excluding white portions. There is a green line that surrounds the truck that can easily be covered by white wrap etc.  New class 5 hitch. More details upon request and more photos coming . I am selling this because I don't have the space to store the truck.
